Plutus Strategies affiliate company Taoudeni Resources plc hace successfully applied for base metal exploration licences in prospective areas of Mauritania, West Africa. The licences cover an area of approximately 2000 square kilometers in virtually unexplored territory. As per the announcement in July the company have funds available to complete an intial phase of work consisting of 2 field programmes, which will consist of mapping, soil and rock chip sampling and other reconaissance activites. There exists historic copper occurences within the licence application area which will be the focus of initial work. The licence applications were successfully made through the Ministry of Mines and will be granted subject to approval from relevant ministries and the Presidential office. Expected time for granting is approximately 3 months.

Plutus believe that future work on the licences will open up a truly new frontier of base metal exploration within West Africa and are excited by the exploration potential of the licences.
